Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies on Disclosurely. For full detail, see section 14 of our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Small text files stored on your device so we can operate the service, keep you signed in where appropriate, and remember essential preferences.
2. What we use and why
Only strictly necessary technologies run until you make a choice in our consent banner. Analytics and advertising technologies load only if you accept them, and stop as soon as you withdraw.
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Consent choice (c15t): a first-party cookie and local storage entry named “c15t” that record which categories you accepted or rejected, for up to 12 months. Your choice is stored on your device.
- Language and market (“lang”, “market”): remember the language or regional version of the site you chose, for up to 12 months.
- Referral link (“disclosurely_ref”): set only when you arrive through a customer or partner referral link, so the referral can be credited at signup, for 30 days.
- Sign-in and security on app.disclosurely.com: session storage needed to keep you signed in and protect your account. The app and the whistleblower reporting portal do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Analytics (only with your consent)
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC): counts visits and measures how pages are used.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): records anonymised session data such as clicks and scrolling, and heatmaps. Form inputs are masked and keystrokes are not recorded.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd.): aggregate traffic statistics.
Advertising (only with your consent)
- We advertise on Google, LinkedIn and Reddit. With your consent, their tags record that you visited our site after seeing or clicking one of our ads, and whether you went on to start a trial, so we can measure which ads work. These providers may also use this information to show you our ads on their platforms, under their own privacy policies.
- Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC).
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company).
- Reddit Pixel (Reddit, Inc.).
- Campaign attribution (“disclosurely_acq”, “disclosurely_acq_ft”): first-party cookies recording the campaign that brought you to us, for 90 days. Set only with advertising consent and deleted if you withdraw it. Without consent, campaign details are kept only in the open page and passed to the signup form you choose to open; nothing is stored on your device.
Support chat and demo booking
- Our support chat on disclosurely.com is the BROS Chat App, operated by Better Ranking Ltd. Nothing is loaded from Better Ranking until you click the chat button. If you start a conversation, it stores a chat session token in your browser so the conversation continues across pages.
- The demo booking calendar on our Demo page is also provided by Better Ranking Ltd. It loads only on that page and is used only to book your demo; it does not set cookies.
3. Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookies” link in our website footer, which reopens your privacy settings. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: the page reloads without the withdrawn technologies, and the cookies and browser storage they created on our domain are deleted. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.
4. Operator
Disclosurely is a software product owned and operated by Umbrella Rank Ltd. Registered office: London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
